About ME

Andreanna Ditton is a gifted writer, editor, content marketer and manager based in the Austin Metropolitan Area.

While her current professional focus is the automotive enthusiast space, she’s also passionate about public education, media and entertainment, food and culture, all of which she has covered as a staff and freelance journalist.

Her curiosity about groups and systems spurred her BA in Cultural Anthropology from Macalester College and guided her move into journalism, marketing and public relations, all of which she’s used in her career from writing about the Los Angeles Unified School District, managing Motorcyclist and Super Streetbike magazines, and finally to guiding the consumer facing editorial and marketing for her current role as Editorial Director for the Internet Brands Auto Communities and Auto Classifieds groups. Brought on board to create a content platform for RacingJunk.com, she has grown that segment of the business from nothing to 1.2 million pageviews a year.

Her current role includes everything from managing teams, to leading on-camera interviews, producing online events, providing in-person event coverage, managing freelance teams and overseeing email and social media marketing strategies. She also writes the occasional press release.

Freelance writing, editing and marketing allows her to continue exploring many of her external interests including health care, public education, cooking and cocktails, finance, movies and television, and social systems. Still, her favorite work may be an episode-by=-episode guide to the 1990s sci-fi television series, Farscape, which she contributed to the “Liz Tells Frank” project.

She currently lives in Austin, TX with her family, including two charming but terrible cats and the world’s best Border Collie.
